*NEW* Lymphatic Drainage (light massage)
Integrative Lymphatic Drainage (ILD) is a gentle, manual technique which will generally stimulate and
temporarily increase circulation. The lymphatic system is invested throughout the body and filters fluids to remove
potentially harmful substances; for this reason, it has a primary function in immune response. People often seek ILD
for swelling: due to acute injury, sinus congestion, comprised lymphatic flow because of surgery or pathology or
in third trimester pregnancy.

Hot Stone Massage
Benefits and effects of hot stones
The direct heat from the stones relaxes muscles allowing manipulation of a greater intensity. This will help alleviate minor aches and pains. The hot stones give additional warmth to the body by expanding blood vessels, a condition known as vaso-dilation. This will then make normal Swedish massage movements even more effective at increasing blood flow and eliminating waste.Lymphatic circulation is assisted by the general increase in circulation. The stones also promote a sedative effect, creating a state of quietude and calm within the client.
Conditions that would benefit from hot stone massage:
· Muscular aches and pains
· Sprains and strains
· Back pain
· Stress and Anxiety

Massage can sometimes help reduce feelings of nausea and calm stressful emotions. In general, not only can massage be physically beneficial, but the human touch can be comforting and provide emotional support during pregnancy.
Massage therapy has been found to reduce anxiety and depression, which is also very helpful in post-natal treatments, when one can feel overwhelmed or experience post-partum depression.
